indications:
Blo-trol®, composed of acetylbutylene, is indicated for the treatment of bloat (or bloating) in cattle, sheep and goats, a metabolic disorder that affects ruminant animals and is associated with factors that prevent the elimination of gases produced during fermentation ruminal.
composition:
Blo-trol® is the tributyl ester of 2-acetoxy 1-2-3 propane tricarboxylic acid in pure form.
dosage and method of use:
Administer Blo-trol® orally, diluted in water or by direct injection into the rumen.
If necessary, repeat the dose 6 to 10 hours after the first treatment.
Cattle: 20 to 30 ml.
Sheep and goats: 5 to 10 ml.
Dosages can be changed at the discretion of the veterinarian.
