Vehicle q.s.p. ........................................................ ........ 100ml
Indications:
Imizol is indicated for the prophylactic and curative treatment of babesiosis (pyroplasmosis) in cattle, horses and dogs and is indicated for the treatment of anaplasmosis in cattle, which are transmitted by different species of ticks and insects or mechanical operations (vaccinations, dehorns, castrations, etc.)
Dogs:
• Treatment: 0.5 ml for every 10 kg of body weight.
• Chemoprophylaxis: 0.2 mL for every 10 kg of body weight. Subcutaneous administration Attention: do not repeat the treatment within 7 days.
Imizol can also be used to control excessive clinical reactions triggered by Babesia/Anaplasma blood vaccines. In these cases, due to its shorter incubation period, the symptoms of babesiosis will appear in the first few days after the onset of premunition and can be controlled with the administration of 1.0 mL for every 100 kg of body weight.
This application will delay the incubation period of anaplasmosis, which may appear a few weeks later. If this manifestation presents an excessive clinical picture, the dose of Imizol to be administered should be 2.5 mL for every 100 kg of body weight
