Indications:
Cattle:
Dectomax® is indicated for the treatment and control of parasitosis caused by gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, myiasis (worms), ticks, grubs, lice, scabies mites and as an aid in the control of the bovine horn fly population.
Pigs:
Dectomax® is indicated for the treatment and control of parasites caused by gastrointestinal, lung and kidney nematodes, lice and scabies mites.
Sheep:
Dectomax® is indicated for the treatment and control of parasitosis caused by gastrointestinal nematodes, myiasis (worms), vermin (worms) and mange mites.
Dosage:
Cattle:
Apply Dectomax® at a dose of 1 mL for every 50 kg of weight (200 mcg of Doramectin per kg).
Pigs:
Apply Dectomax® at a dose of 1 mL for every 33 kg of weight (300 mcg of Doramectin per kg).
Sheep:
Apply Dectomax® at a dose of 1 mL for every 50 kg of weight (200 mcg of Doramectin per kg) against gastrointestinal nematodes myiasis (bicheiras) and headworm (berne) and 1 mL for every 33 kg of weight (300 mcg of Doramectin per kg) against scabies mites.
Management:
Cattle and Sheep:
Dectomax® must be applied subcutaneously or intramuscularly.
Pigs:
Dectomax® must be applied intramuscularly.
Grace period:
Cattle and Sheep:
Meat: The slaughter of treated animals should only be carried out 35 days after the last application of the product.
Milk: This product should not be applied to female producers of milk for human consumption.
Pigs:
Meat: The slaughter of treated animals should only be carried out 28 days after the last application of the product.
