Recommendation
Terramycin Injectable Solution is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by strains sensitive to oxytetracycline, in cattle, horses, swine, sheep, goats, birds, rabbits, dogs and cats.
Formula
Every 100 mL contains

50 ml is equivalent to 2.5 g of Terramycin.
How to use
Terramycin Injectable Solution should be administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously or by blockade at the site of infection.
Applications must be repeated every 24 hours for 3 days.
Underdosing interferes with the effectiveness of the treatment.
Dosage can be modified at the discretion of the veterinarian.
Large animals (bovine and equine): 3 to 5 mg/kg of weight.
Up to 45 kg .................................. 3 to 4.5 mL
45 to 90 kg ........................................ 3 to 9 mL
90 to 180 kg ............................... 9 to 18 mL
180 to 360 kg ............................ 18 to 36 mL
Medium animals (sheep, goats and pigs): 6 to 8 mg/kg of weight.
Up to 5 kg ..........................................................
5 to 10 kg..............................................1 to 2 mL
10 to 30 kg ........................................... 2 to 6 mL
30 to 60 kg ........................................ 6 to 8 mL
60 to 90 kg ........................................ 8 to 10 mL
Small animals (dogs, cats, rabbits and birds): 10 mg/kg of weight.
1 ml for every 5 kg of weight.
Precaution
Store in a dry and cool place, protected from sunlight, preferably between 15 and 30ºC.
Use aseptic techniques when applying the product.
Discontinue the medication 30 days before slaughtering animals for human consumption.
Do not use in lactating dairy females.
Do not use in birds producing eggs for human consumption.
The eventual darkening of Terramycin® Injectable Solution does not interfere with its effectiveness.
