Ganadol ointment is indicated for cuts, abrasions, wounds resulting from castrations and other operations, in the treatment of infected wounds and suppurations of any kind.
Formula:
Each 50 g tube contains:
Penicillin G benzathine.......................................................................................................................................... 1.250,000 IU
Penicillin G procaine................................................ 1.250,000 IU
Dihydrostreptomycin (sulfate) ......................................1.25 g
Urea ..................................................... ................2.50 g
Excipient qsp...................................................... ...50 g
Dosage:
In sufficient quantity to cover the wounds.
Management:
Administer in such quantity as to cover the wound. Cover, if possible, with a strip of gauze.
Renew the dressing every day with the same precautions until complete healing.
