Injectable Naquasone combines the effective diuretic activity of Trichloromethiazide with the specific anti-inflammatory action of Dexamethasone, which completes the reduction of physiological edema of parturition, mammary gland and accessory structures in female bovine animals.
Indications:
For the treatment of edema of the mammary glands during the pre- and post-partum period in dairy cows.
Dosage:
Inject 10 to 20 ml, intramuscularly, according to the severity of the edema, and the dosage above may be repeated, as directed by the Veterinary Doctor.
Response to treatment is usually achieved 24-48 hours after starting treatment. In most cases the result appears in 3-4 days, if the response is not evident within 3 days, it is recommended to re-examine the animal.
Contraindications:
The use of the product under conditions other than those indicated may cause the presence of residues above the approved limits, making the food of animal origin unfit for consumption.
Do not use in the last trimester of pregnancy (can be used within the last five days).
